Requests have been made on this embassy
by M. de BLEDENFELD concerning Dr. ----, president
of the ----, living at Villa Toriano ----, who is
anxious to obtain permission to leave France shortly,
accompanied by his two daughters, and to come to
the United States. On account of the considerable
influence exercised by Dr. ---- in Lisbon and the
United States it would be well that his request be
referred to competent authorities.
